YouTube Australia finally has its own blog! This is where we'll be posting all the latest YouTube happenings, such as site updates, community news, details on any Aussie YouTube get-togethers (coming up: Melbourne, December 1) and much more. Feel free to also connect
with us directly: tell us what you're loving on the site (send vid links to editor-au@youtube.com) and whatever else is on your mind. And don't forget to use the Help Centre, which has answers to a lot of frequently asked questions as well as technical assistance.
We really want to make YouTube Australia a site that showcases a huge variety of Australian culture, interests and talent, and with the great online community we have here already we know it's going to be an exhilarating ride.

ReplyDeleteVery unimpressed that You Tube automatically defaults to the Aussie site. I would prefer a choice. The thing I used to like about You Tube was that I got to see videos from other places in the world, on the front page, not just Australia. I want to be connected to the rest of the world, and then if I choose to look at You Tube Australia I should have the option of linking to that site. I've also noticed that when I look at videos they keep going down, especially when they are originally posted from o.s. So get your act together You Tube.

Also do you reckon during dates around the Melbourne get together we could get some sort of gathering section on the front page. I've got no idea how this would work, but I'd love for everyone who visits the front page to be exposed to the awesome community on youtube
